The first Multilingual Entertainment app and which is also an All-in-one app has been officially announced by the Reliance Entertainment Limited. As the Reliance company has named the app as Chillx which is a venture launched with digital media and distribution company FunOnGo Media and Entertainment. This Reliance collaborated company is also being described as a telecom value added service (VAS) firm. As this app has been launched for all the Android device users and offers the users to access the free and paid videos based on their requirements. They can also even access the videos, apps, games, music, short films, and Films. For this app, language is not a barrier whereas regional languages are included in the popular search.
Reliance Chillx App features regional language support for Bengali, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu, apart from English. The company cites statistics to claim that 85 percent of smartphone users in India will consume entertainment in local languages by 2020, the reason behind the app’s multilingual feature.
Reliance Entertainment says the Chillx app supports free and premium models, with plans starting at Rs. 49 a month. While some content is free, some content is paid, and some content is ad-supported. While not detailing them explicitly, Reliance says the new Chillx app will allow users to choose from several payment mechanisms, including telecom/ carrier billing.
Reliance Chillx App lets the users choose the streaming videos and audio quality which include a medium to set quality on poor bandwidth and high quality at good connections. The users who want to use this app can download through Google Play store, Reliance Entertainments. So, the users can also get the app directly from the Reliance company tied up devices.
