Panasonic P77 With 5-Inch Display, 4G VoLTE Support Launched at Rs. 6,990

Panasonic has unveiled a new 4G unibody smartphone – the P77. The new smartphone comes with VoLTE support. The phone is a dual SIM device that comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz Quad-core Processor that is coupled with 1GB RAM. The device has 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by 32GB via microSD card.

P77 is running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera. The phone is backed by a 2000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery. Sensors on the phone include a – Light Sensor, Proximity sensor and

Panasonic P77 supports 4G VoLTE, dual SIM with 4G/3G and 2G configuration, Wi-Fi Hot Spot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth and Global Positioning System (A-GPS). Connectivity options on the device include 4G, 3G, LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, “We continue to focus on all the segments of mobile phones with different price points and value proposition. We are pleased to offer the new P77 with 4G VoLTE technology to our Indian customers at an affordable price of Rs. 6990. Panasonic P77 will be available at all Panasonic outlets across the country. The phone will be available at a price of Rs 6,990 and will come in grey and white colour variants.

Panasonic expects 200 per ent growth over the same period last year. The company expects to make Rs 600 crore in sales during the festive season, according to Rana.
